Chris Low Kam Loong
With over 30 years of experience in the global wine and service industry, Chris Low Kam Loong is a recognized authority in Malaysia’s F&B landscape. As the Chancellor of the Jurade of Saint-Émilion (Malaysia Chapter), Chris brings a level of insider access and technical expertise that is rare in the region.
Having hosted over 50 exclusive wine-and-dine events alongside world-class winemakers and châteaux owners, Chris’s approach is rooted in "The Wine Storyteller" philosophy—making complex wine knowledge accessible, practical, and engaging for everyone from beginners to seasoned professionals.

Key Milestones
2006 | The Birth of a Tradition: We launched ProVinum and hosted the very first "Friday Lunch." What started as a casual gathering soon evolved into our legendary Longest Lunch, setting the standard for local food with wine pairing.
2007 | Crossing Borders: Our horizons expanded as we led the inaugural ProVinum Vineyard Tour. We took an intimate group of four enthusiasts to the heart of Bordeaux, France, to experience the soul of the vines firsthand.
2013 | Elevating the Industry: With a vision to professionalize passion, SWAG Consultancy was born. This year marked a major milestone in wine education as I became a Certified HRD Corp (HRDF) Trainer, bridging the gap between world-class expertise and industry-standard training.
2016 | A Growing Community: The love for authentic wine travel soared! Our Bordeaux Vineyard Tours reached a new peak, welcoming vibrant groups of 16 guests, all eager to explore the world's most prestigious estates together.
2017 | A year of profound honor and international recognition. I was formally inducted as a Commandeur d’Honneur de l’Ordre du Bontemps—one of the oldest and most prestigious wine brotherhoods in the world.
The investiture took place amidst the historic elegance of Château Malartic-Lagravière, where the Commanderie du Bontemps de Médoc, Graves, Sauternes et Barsac recognized a lifelong commitment to the promotion and preservation of the great wines of Bordeaux’s Left Bank. This title is more than an honor; it is a solemn pledge to uphold the traditions of excellence that define the world’s most iconic estates.
2018 | The Chancellor’s Investiture. In a landmark moment for the Malaysian wine landscape, I was formally inducted as the Chancelier de la Jurade de Saint-Émilion en Malaisie.
Held by the Jurade of Saint-Émilion —the world’s oldest and most storied wine brotherhood—this appointment marked a historic bridge between the ancient limestone plateaus of the Right Bank and the vibrant wine community of Malaysia. As Chancellor, I was entrusted with the sacred duty of acting as the primary guardian and advocate for the heritage, elegance, and soul of Saint-Émilion wines.
2020 | Create Virtual Happy Hour and conducted 50+ online wine classes and virtual wine tasting that match with local during the Convid-19 pandemic.
2024 | Surpassed the milestone of training 1,000 individuals, implementing the "Learn While You Earn" model across major Malaysian F&B properties.
